John and Pat Dickinson have undertaken a visual journey, through painting and sculpture they have strived to create a meaningful connection to the viewer. There paintings are made with the ancient process of melting beeswax and oil pigment together. Damar varnish is added to raise the melt temperature to 160 degrees. The result is archival, highly textured, and saturated with color as I would like my work to portray always.
